Midwest Food Bank
Description of Organization:
It is our mission to gather large food donations from nationwide corporations and distribute them to social service organizations, as well as, national disaster sites, at no charge. We do not want to ask the organizations we serve to cover our overhead through the purchase of food; therefore, we desire to receive and distribute in-kind donations at no cost.
As a faith-based organization, it is the mission of Midwest Food Bank to alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to not-for-profits and disaster sites without cost to the recipients.
Our support is based upon the merits of our work, the commitment of dedicated volunteers and the generous in-kind donations from corporations. Midwest Food Bank is pleased to provide a place where the local community is able to volunteer. We are a resource for youth groups, church groups, and community organizations to help those in need.

Please join other YPO members in a unique volunteer opportunity that will benefit those in need and hungry in our community. We have joined forces with the Midwest Food Bank to set up 3 volunteer opportunities for our members. Group size is limited to 20 people per date so sign up soon!
