Young Professionals Organization Becomes Committee of Peoria Area Chamber
As of June 1, 2007 the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria (YPO) will become a standing committee of the board of directors of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce. This will make YPO similar to the Business Advocacy, Transportation or Marketing Committee.
Chamber staff is provided to the committee for support and guidance. Any individual who expresses an interest in the development and advancement of economic, civic involvement and business conditions for Peoria, Woodford, and Tazewell County metropolitan area shall be eligible to become a General Member of the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria.
We are currently working on some new marketing materials, and changing the look and feel of the current Young Professionals Organization. With a fresh new look and logo, we know that this organization will benefit significantly.
As of June 1st, 2007, the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria will be charging an annual membership fee of $30 per person. The benefits of YPO membership are abundant. They range from monthly events and socials, access to Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce news, networking with business and community leaders, and taking part in professional development opportunities.
