The Young Professional Organization of Greater Peoria (YPGP) is a group made up of 20 and 30-somethings who have a mutual interest in social and business networking, community involvement, and professional development. Our goal is to promote Peoria as an exciting place to live, work, and play.

YPGP is a committee of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce.

Programs

The Young Professional Organization of Greater Peoria Programs include:

Lunch and Learn: Hear from a panel of expert speakers who will provide invaluable information on a variety of topics that are important to young professionals.

Secrets of My Success: The Secrets of My Success allows young professionals to meet with business and community leaders to learn about their experiences, successes, challenges, and provide advice for young professionals.

LEAP (Leaders Emerge to Advance Peoria): LEAP is a six week academy designed to develop personal leadership skills and empower young professionals to become active in the community.

Monthly YPO Socials: Network with other young professionals at the monthly YPO socials. These socials rotate from business, bar, or other venue. The socials are always the 1st Thursday of the month, from 5:00-7:00 PM. Mark your calendar, and bring your friends!

Special Events: YPO hosts a variety of special outings. We attend Bradley Braves games, Peoria Rivermen games, cosmic bowling, paintball, and YPO Breakfast Club.
